ROUNDUP: Chide, Legere help Arbor View boys edge Shadow Ridge for playoff berth

Blake Chide and Quinn Legere went 3-0 in doubles play Tuesday to help Arbor View’s boys tennis team secure a berth in the Sunset Region playoffs with a 10-8 home win over Shadow Ridge.
The Aggies and The Meadows both finished 5-4 and tied for fourth place in the Northwest League play. Arbor View won the tiebreaker and the right to play in the postseason by virtue of its head-to-head victory over the Mustangs this season.
Tanner Maxwell was 3-0 in singles play for Shadow Ridge.
Bonanza 10, Spring Valley 8 — At Spring Valley, Josh Mitchell went 3-0 in singles to lift the Bengals to a road victory over the Grizzlies.
Taylor Thuet and Brian Clow went 3-0 in doubles for Bonanza.
Faith Lutheran 16, Cheyenne 2 — At Cheyenne, Jake Benowitz was 3-0 in singles as the Crusaders marched past the Desert Shields.
Parker Gatewood and Shawn Kennedy went 2-0 in doubles for Faith Lutheran.
Centennial 14, Legacy 4 — At Centennial, Greg Madsen was 2-0 in singles as the Bulldogs downed the Longhorns.
Brandon Fish and Travis Smith were 2-0 in doubles for Centennial.
Kevin Noorda and Keith Noorda went 2-0 in doubles for Legacy.
Bishop Gorman 14, Durango 4 — At Gorman, the doubles teams of Michael Bessen and Jalen Paulos, and Ian Dobberstein and Joseph Connors each went 3-0 to pace the Gaels to an easy victory over the Trailblazers.
Cody Miller was 2-0 in singles for Gorman.
Alex Zelenovic went 2-1 in singles for Durango.
Coronado 18, Silverado 0 — At Coronado, Matthew Dees went 3-0 in singles as the Cougars blanked the Skyhawks.
Coronado’s doubles team of Stephen Boyd and Patricio Sanchez went 3-0.
Palo Verde 12, Cimarron-Memorial 6 — At Cimarron, the doubles teams of Austin Taylor and Keaton Hawker, and Danny Reyes and Dominic Morelli each went 2-1 to help the Panthers dispatch the Spartans.
Brian Foley was 3-0 in singles, and Jonas Wellan and Taylor Larsen went 3-0 in doubles for Cimarron.
Clark 11, Virgin Valley 7 — At Mesquite, Joseph Maalouf and Deric Pang each went 2-0 in singles to help the Chargers to a win over the Bulldogs.
Eldorado 13, Del Sol 5 — At Eldorado, the doubles teams of Joey Barnhurst and Seattle Stoneback, and Kent Gonzales and Jacob Holllingsworth each went 3-0 as the Sundevils defeated the Dragons.
Desert Oasis 13, Adelson School 5 — At Desert Oasis, the doubles teams of Kyle Brown and Feng Huang, and Tryston Drawe and Mohammad Eddick each went 2-0 as the Diamondbacks defeated the Lions.
Adrien Guerin and Romain Penaruiz each went 2-1 in singles for Adelson School.
Sierra Vista 10, Western 8 — At Sierra Vista, the Mountain Lions nipped the Warriors.
The Meadows 17, Mojave 1 — At The Meadows, the Mustangs blitzed the Rattlers.
