Katie DeJesus shared medalist honors with a 5-over-par 77 at Rhodes Ranch on Wednesday to lead Bishop Gorman’s girls golf team to victory in a Southwest League match.
The Gaels’ team score of 329 was 50 strokes better than second-place Desert Oasis. Spring Valley was third at 389.
Desert Oasis’ Darleen Raymond also carded a 77. Spring Valley’s Julia Graham shot 79.
Crusaders roll to Northwest win
At Badlands, Brianna Becker shot 2-over-par 74, and teammate Annie Freeman added a 76 to lead Faith Lutheran to victory in a Northwest League match.
Faith Lutheran had a team score of 314. Cimarron-Memorial took second at 333, followed by Palo Verde at 340, Arbor View at 353, Centennial at 386 and Shadow Ridge at 475.
Cimarron’s Aspen Bryant took third at 77, followed by Palo Verde’s Kellie Watkins at 78. Cimarron’s Kellie Busse and Faith Lutheran’s Julia Becker each shot 79.
