ROUNDUP: Kennedy, Gatewood push Crusader boys past The Meadows

Sean Kennedy and Parker Gatewood went 3-0 in doubles play, including the match-clinching victory in a tiebreaker, Thursday to lead Faith Lutheran’s boys tennis team to a 10-8 victory at The Meadows.
Jake Benowitz and Sam Taylor each went 2-1 in singles play for the Crusaders.
Evan Roth was 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Charlie Adams and Parker Brown went 2-1.
Durango 10, Virgin Valley 9 — At Durango, Alex Zelenovic was 3-0 in singles, and the Trailblazers survived a tiebreaker to down the Bulldogs.
The teams split their 18 sets and split the six 12-point tiebreakers, but Durango outscored Virgin Valley, 35-34 in points, to claim the win.
Centennial 14, Cimarron-Memorial 4 — At Cimarron, Greg Madsen went 3-0 in singles, and teammates Brandon Fish and Casey Moses were 3-0 in doubles to lead the Bulldogs to an easy win over the Spartans.
Brian Foley was 2-0 in singles for Cimarron.
Bishop Gorman 16, Desert Oasis 2 — At Desert Oasis, Ian Dobberstein went 3-0 in singles as the Gaels handled the Diamondbacks.
Joseph Conners and Adrien Valacia went 3-0 in doubles for the Gaels.
Bonanza 16, Sierra Vista 2 — At Sierra Vista, Josh Mitchell went 3-0 in singles , and teammates Conner Lemmon and Alec Taylor went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Bengals to victory over the Mountain Lions.
Legacy 14, Mojave 4 — At Mojave, Kevin Noorda and Keith Noorda both went 3-0 in singles to help the Longhorns cruise past the Rattlers.
Tim Bachman and Ethan Ventura went 3-0 in doubles for Mojave.
Arbor View 13, Cheyenne 5 — At Cheyenne, Manuel Portillo went 2-0 in singles as the Aggies defeated the Desert Shields.
Blake Chidey and Quinn Legere went 2-0 in doubles for Arbor View.
Palo Verde 18, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Zack Surmacz went 2-0 in singles, and Alex Karbowniczek and Richie Jackson teamed to go 2-0 in doubles as the Panthers routed the Mustangs.
Clark 13, Western 5 — At Western, the Chargers downed the Warriors.
Adelson School 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — The Lions won by forfeit.
