ROUNDUP: Ortiz, Tran lead Rancho girls to rout

Monica Ortiz and Emily Tran each went 3-0 in singles play Tuesday to help Rancho’s girls tennis team to a 16-2 home rout of Chaparral.

Natia Alvarado and Shannon Quell were 3-0 in doubles play for Rancho.

Valley 15, Canyon Springs 3 — At Valley, Emari Bryant and Soraya Peron went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Vikings to an easy win over the Pioneers.

Alex Miteva, Brooke Hardin and Camille Orillo all went 2-1 in singles for Valley.

Christian Earl was 3-0 in singles for Canyon Springs.

Sunrise Mountain 7, Desert Pines 6 — At Desert Pines, the Miners outlasted the Jaguars on a tiebreaker.

Karina Campos and Ayde Murillo went 3-0 in doubles for Desert Pines.

Eldorado 17, Moapa Valley 1 — At Eldorado, Abby Marasigan and Margaeux Martinez went 2-0 in doubles as the Sundevils routed the Pirates.

Silverado 12, Basic 6 — At Silverado, Kaity Barker and Jordan Minnick both went 3-0 in singles to help the Skyhawks top the Wolves.

Foothill 12, Tech 6 — At Tech, Sam Throgmorton and Sydney Bunker went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Falcons to a win over the Roadrunners.

Lauren Penksa and Devyn Beeson went 2-0 in doubles for Foothill.

Alexis Sanchez and Priscilla Sanchez each went 3-0 in singles to pace Tech.

Liberty 11, Boulder City 7 — At Boulder City, Aphrah Brokaw went 3-0 in singles as the Patriots edged the Eagles.

Coronado 16, Green Valley 2 — At Coronado, Paris Reese and Lea Cohen each went 3-0 in singles as the Cougars cruised past the Gators.

Palo Verde 17, Legacy 1 — At Palo Verde, Tia Okano was 3-0 in singles to lead the Panthers past the Longhorns.

Shannon Dean and Abby Till were 3-0 in doubles for Palo Verde.

Cimarron-Memorial 11, Del Sol 7 — At Cimarron, Elaina Smith and Lily Garcia each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Spartans by the Dragons.

Nisha Johnson went 2-0 in singles for Cimarron.

Gina Rossetti and Ashley Stanley were 3-0 in doubles for Del Sol.
