ROUNDUP: Own goal helps Longhorns hold off Bulldogs

Saul Aguirre and Antonio Velazquez each scored a goal, and Legacy’s boys soccer team also took advantage of an own goal Wednesday to hold off visiting Centennial, 3-2.
After a scoreless first half, the Longhorns built a 3-1 lead before Centennial scored with two minutes remaining.
Blake Frischknecht and Phillip Hopper netted a goal apiece for Centennial.
Mojave 2, Cheyenne 1 — At Mojave, Moises Ferreyra and Ondrej Lengyel each had a goal as the Rattlers edged the Desert Shields.
Brian Santacruz scored for Cheyenne.
Cimarron-Memorial 7, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Cimarron-Memorial, Oso Valencia posted three goals and two assists, and teammate Jordan Moreno added two goals and an assist to lead the Spartans in a rout of the Mustangs.
Johnny Grieco had a goal and an assist for Cimmaron, which got a goal from Jose Asencio.
Trey Alvez scored for Shadow Ridge.
Palo Verde 3, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Palo Verde, Josh Silva tallied a goal and an assist and Alex Shackley and Jamie Hernandez each scored a goal as the Panthers blanked the Crusaders.
Josh Lockwood supplied two assists, and Josh Dinsmore recorded the shutout for Palo Verde.
Clark 3, Western 1 — At Clark, second-half goals from Juan Regalado, Jose Giles and Victor Alvarez helped the Chargers rally past the Warriors.
Marvin Rosales’ goal gave Western a 1-0 halftime lead.
Spring Valley 4, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Sergio Borboa scored twice, and the Grizzlies got all of their goals from freshmen en route to a shutout win over the Trojans.
Roy Flores and Tyson Perkins also scored for Spring Valley.
Matt Riderelli made four saves to earn the shutout.
Sierra Vista 3, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, Miles McRae had two goals to lift the Mountain Lions past the Bengals.
Stefan Stefanovic also scored for Sierra Vista.
Jorge Garcia was in goal to claim the shutout.
Bishop Gorman 9, Desert Oasis 1 — At Gorman, J.P. Kennedy had a goal and two assists, and Sean Keith and Austin Moore each added a goal and an assist as the Gaels routed the Diamondbacks.
Mike Tonetti, Nick Wesen, Rian McEvoy, Jack Sullivan, Trace Doehrmann, and Blake Balelo had a goal apiece for Gorman.
Joel Reddick scored for Desert Oasis.
Durango 3, Boulder City 0 — At Durango, Ryan Benavante, Paris Estrada and Wasajja Wals each scored a goal, and goalkeeper Richard Zavala earned a shutout as the Trailblazers blanked the Eagles.
Jeremy Allen had two assists for Durango.
Virgin Valley 5, Adelson School 2 — At Mesquite, William Lara notched three goals to propel the Bulldogs past the Lions.
Danny Medina added a goal and an assist, and John To scored for Virgin Valley.
Mendy Berrebi netted both goals for Adelson School.

Moapa Valley 4, Virgin Valley 1 — At Mesquite, Hannah Leavitt scored twice to lead the Pirates past the Bulldogs.
Cindy Mayers added a goal and an assist, and Kylee Evans also scored for Moapa Valley.
Karson Bryant tallied Virgin Valley’s goal.
