Sunrise Region girls tennis teams have to wait an extra day before beginning their postseason tournament.

Rain on Monday forced the postponement until 2:30 p.m. today of all four matches on the Sunrise side.

The Green Valley at Eldorado and Silverado at Valley matches will remain at those sites today.

Rancho’s match against Liberty will be played at Chaparral to coincide with the Liberty-Chaparral boys match. The Las Vegas-Coronado match will be played at Silverado.

On the Sunset side, Faith Lutheran’s match at Bonanza was suspended after the first round with the teams tied 3-3. That match will resume at 2:30 p.m. today.

The Meadows 10, Clark 4 — At The Meadows, Amanda Brazell and Taler Brazell each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Mustangs past the Chargers.

Anjali Daulat and Bhavana Janga went 2-0 in doubles, overcoming three set points to win their first set.

Bishop Gorman 16, Centennial 2 — At Gorman, the Gaels (10-1) had a pair of doubles teams go undefeated as they rolled past the Bulldogs (5-4-1).

The doubles teams of Addie Gardner and Lexi Sorrentino, and Taylor Larreau and Morgan Matley each went 2-0 for Gorman.

Palo Verde 18, Desert Oasis 0 — At Palo Verde, Victoire Saperstein and Tia Okano each went 3-0 in singles as the Panthers (11-0) swept the Diamondbacks (6-5).
