ROUNDUP: Shackley helps Panthers pull away from Spartans

Alex Shackley tallied two goals and an assist Friday to help Palo Verde’s boys soccer team to a 4-2 win over visiting Cimarron-Memorial.

Jose Silva added a goal and an assist, and Zach Ward scored for the Panthers, who pulled away from a 1-1 halftime tie.

Oso Valencia and Garrick Quackenbush each scored a goal for Cimarron.

Legacy 5, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Jaime Ibarra netted two goals to help the Longhorns blank the Aggies.

Antonio Velasquez, Rodolfo Robles and David Sanchez also scored for Legacy.

Ramon Carvajal was in goal for the shutout.

Centennial 2, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Centennial, Chance Rosa had a goal and an assist to lift the Bulldogs past the Mustangs.

Christian Amarillo added a goal for Centennial.

Faith Lutheran 2, Cheyenne 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Sam Stevens and Fernando Tellez had a goal apiece as the Crusaders downed the Desert Shields.

Carter Bishop made five saves to earn the shutout.

Durango 4, Spring Valley 1 — At Spring Valley, Jose Alejo, Jorge Lorza, Ryan Benavente and German Velarde each tallied a goal to help the Trailblazers top the Grizzlies.

Ricky Gonzalez scored for Spring Valley.

Bishop Gorman 3, Western 1 — At Gorman, Rian McEvoy had a goal and an assist as the Gaels downed the Warriors.

Nick Wesen and Mike Tonetti also scored for Gorman.

Joel Diaz had Western’s goal.

Clark 4, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Juan Regalado tallied three goals to lead the Chargers past the Diamondbacks.

Daniel Baruana also scored for Clark.

Victor Jimenez made one save en route to the shutout.

Sierra Vista 4, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Pahrump, Miles McRae had two goals and an assist as the Mountain Lions downed the Trojans.

Truitt Evans and Milan Popovic each added a goal for Sierra Vista, which jumped to a 3-1 halftime lead.

Mojave 3, Virgin Valley 2 — At Mesquite, Ondrej Lengyel took advantage of a defensive breakdown to net the winning goal with four minutes left and send the Rattlers past the Bulldogs.

Lengyel had two goals, and Cuah Cano scored once for Mojave.

Danny Medina had both of Virgin Valley’s goals.

Sunrise Mountain 4, Boulder City 1 — At Boulder City, Tieo Del Casal scored a goal to spark the Miners to a comeback win over the Eagles.

Mario Ahumeda, Sergio Hernandez and Eduardo Enciso added a goal apiece for Sunrise Mountain, which scored three goals on free kicks in the first 15 minutes of the second half.

Yann Moncayo scored for Boulder City, which led 1-0 at halftime.

Rancho 5, Moapa Valley 1— Aaron Ortiz had two goals and an assist as the Rams pulled away from the Pirates.

Juan Quiroz-Acosta supplied a goal and an assist, and Hector Martinez and Chris Rodriguez-Clavel also scored for Rancho.

Irving Torres notched Moapa Valley’s goal.
