You have to see it with your own eyes to believe it! Foothill and Silverado will win in the first round of the playoffs (Foothill because of coaching and Silverado because of the few good players that they have left) but they will lose to GV and Liberty when it matters most.

Almost every shot she took was contested or at least made her rush. Not all of them, but many. To often when you folks talk on-line it's a bit one-sided. Collins could have hit more shots, but the defense was hardly awful. Quite frankly it was darn good. Look how many shots she took. She didn't get to take her normal number of shots. That was due to defense and pressure at every spot on the court. But then again, maybe the lighting from my side of the gym was a little different. Who knows, maybe you have more game experience than me??? I only played in high school and college. Maybe it's me who is not seeing the entire game. Could have also been me that saw a game plan that simply baffled Silverado. They went inside and out. They created turn overs and, yes... made some as well. I think that at this point, Silverado is just done. They've had soooo much drama, so many critics, and bad-mouthing that their spirit seems to be broke. taking Nothing from Foothill, they are playing better and better every week. Yes, Canyon Springs and Desert Pines are out there. We'll see if FH can pull that out and get to Liberty again. FH took liberty to something like 6 points after leading most of the game and then to 4 after a back and forth game. FH lost that in the last 2.5 when a moron of a ref called a tech on Star for bouncing a ball and being frustrated with a horrible call. One thing is for sure, the Southeast and Northeast playoffs will be interesting. My guess is unless FootHill finally beats Liberty, GV and Liberty will be at it a 4th time! Good luck to all the girls and congrats on a fine season.

To me "contested" means laess than 2 feet in front of the shooter with a hand in the face without being screened. Since most of Collins attempted 3's were top of the key wide open, or side off of screen shots, I would consider them "uncontested." I can not comment on the night she hit 10, just the Foothill game. To use and old saying about her shooting vs. Foothill, "If she fell out of a boat, she couldn" hit the water." Just my Point Of View.
