ROUNDUP: Kentrell Washington helps Warriors pull away from Bonanza

Kentrell Washington had 21 points and nine rebounds Saturday to lead Western’s boys basketball team to a 65-49 home win over Bonanza.

Aaron Buckley added 14 points, and Kenyon Washington contributed seven points and eight rebounds for Western.

The Warriors used a 19-8 edge in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Dasean Martin led Bonanza with 13 points.

Moapa Valley 81, Pahranagat Valley 55 — At Overton, Matt Vallet had 17 points, and Casen Lewis had 13 points and six assists to lead the Pirates over the Panthers.

Hayden Cooper scored 14 points, and Josh Thompson added eight points and eight assists for Moapa Valley.

Tommy Williams scored 14 and Cody Hosier 13 for Pahranagat Valley.

Lincoln County 61, White Pine 51 — At Ely, Dantley Walker had 19 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists to lead the Lynx past the Bobcats.

Eric Rippetoe had 16 points and nine rebounds for Lincoln County, and Jason Wheatley supplied eight points and eight rebounds.

Michael Johnson led White Pine with 17 points. Jacob Henze added 13 points for the Bobcats.

Beatty 51, Laughlin 46 — At Beatty, Ramiro Hernandez had 16 points to lead the Hornets over the Cougars.

Ivan Maldonado added 11 points, and Anthony Turner scored 10 for Beatty.

Andre Prosise and Nick Todd each had 12 points for Laughlin.

Tartan (Minn.) 62, Boulder City 34 — At Boulder City, the Eagles were unable to climb out of a 30-11 halftime hole.

Kyle Dimpel and Preston Swasey scored 10 points each for Boulder City.

Mountain View 69, West Wendover 52 — At West Wendover, Justyn Anderson had 24 points and six assists to lead the Saints by the Wolverines.

Cortland LeBoeuf had 16 points, seven assists and five steals for Mountain View. Trevor Van Kempen added 14 points for the Saints.

Mountain View took control with a 30-4 run spanning the second and third quarters.

Avery Arrien led West Wendover with 14 points. Corey Bostock added 10 points for the Wolverines.
