Hey to everyone knocking Calvary that is so unnecessary you are grown woman knocking a whole bunch of high school level volleyball players. you should be ashamed to b frank! i attended that Calvary vs Lincoln game and i thought it was a great effort on both sides...and Calvary pulled out winning the last game and giving them the last play off spot...and in one game anything came happen...everyone needs to realize that...so dont underestimate the Lions or any one else for that matter!
2A Fan/Mom wrote on October 30, 2009 07:16 PM: There is no team with the experience and the talent that Lincoln has....so they lost a couple of matches...but this was due to internal issues....The Lady Lynx only beat theirselves, which is evident by the score....the difference being almost the same amount of bad serves! Seniors Smerek, Wilkin and Christian havn't even reached their peak...Senior Glockner has done an excellent job setting this year....she has been the defensive specialist for the last 3 years (at varsity level), Lynx also has 3 Juniors, 2 of which have played at the state level that round out the starting 6...This team has the maturity and the skill for the Big Show...where it really counts...besides on the state level it takes a team of class...I'm sure the Lady Lynx are looking forward to seeing Meadows again, a very well coached...very well desciplined and fans that are also a class act...that's why they fought there way to the State level last year....So go ahead and gloat over these wins you may have had over Lincoln, but when the girls are on, they ARE unstoppable....When it counts these lady's will bring their game! It will be the best 2 teams representing the South again...Lincoln and Meadows....Title this year will stay in the South!!! unknown wrote on October 30, 2009 07:01 PM: I don't know who you people are or what you've been reading, but to say that Calvary is amazing and Meadows isn't that good, its clear you haven't been keeping up with the standings. Meadows beat Calvary in one of their first league games. Granted Meadows is 2A, they competed in the Las Vegas Invitational (FIRST tournament of the season) and BEAT Coronado, Legacy, and came extremly close to beating the schools Lehi, and Centennial. Have you even seen a Meadows game? They don't even have a home gym to play in and still get the job done. Not taking anything away from Gorman, or Silverado, but for Meadows being 2A they do a great job in and out of their league. Meadows is undefeated in their league, and if Calvary is so unstoppable then how did Meadows beat them? unknown 2 wrote on October 30, 2009 12:23 PM: So are the Calvary Lions in the playoffs or what I mean come on needles are not that great. You know bri ridley junior, eboni brown senior, Danille johnson senior, Anna Durduen senior, Alexa Han the 9er are PRETTY BEASTY. And donot get me started on back row Brettani Davis Sophmore like 88 billion digs a single match. So let me get to my point you know calvary will win state there should not even be a thought on the tiebreaker. But whoever wins it is all "glory to the mighty one". unknown wrote on October 30, 2009 07:51 AM: So did calvary make it to playoffs or what? you calvary will win state its very easy. With ridley and han and johnson + johnson and brown they are unstoppable. Licoln shocked me that they are not that great neither is THE MEADOWS some players are good but they are not amazing. IF you want amazing go and see bishop gorman or silverado or shadow ridge kylee straff is AAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAZZZZZZZZZIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG |
