Wood, a junior forward who has committed to UNLV, shot 4-for-5 on 3-pointers and grabbed five rebounds.

Kamron Alexander had 16 points and 15 rebounds Friday to help Chaparral’s boys basketball team overcome a 50-42 third-quarter deficit and post a 64-59 home win over Desert Pines.
Kevin Morgan supplied 20 points and three steals, and Patrick Savoy added 14 points for the Cowboys.
