Balanced Findlay Prep routs Foothill

Chris Wood scored 22 points to lead Findlay Prep’s basketball team to an 89-52 home win over Foothill on Friday night at Henderson International.

Wood, a junior forward who has committed to UNLV, shot 4-for-5 on 3-pointers and grabbed five rebounds.

Nigel Williams-Goss scored 14 points, Amedeo Della Valle added 13 points, and Brandon Ashley had 11 points and five rebounds for the Pilots (22-1).

Findlay Prep senior forward Winston Shepard, who will make a recruiting visit to San Diego State this weekend, supplied 10 points, 10 assists and five rebounds.

Matt Willms scored 10 for the Pilots.

Brannon Cresanto, Greg Cox and Austin Starr each scored eight points for Foothill (13-10).
