Beaulieu's punt returns spark Panthers to win over Mustangs

Palo Verde's Ryan Beaulieu scored on punt returns of 82 and 78 yards in the first half, and the second-ranked Panthers (7-0, 6-0 Northwest League) rolled to a 49-7 road win over Shadow Ridge (0-6, 0-5) on Thursday.

Parker Rost passed for 118 yards, including an 18-yard TD to Jake Ortale, and Andrew Simister rushed for scores of 1 and 30 yards. Eric South scored on a 50-yard run and Lee Griggs on a 1-yarder.

For Shadow Ridge, J Henderson threw a 30-yard TD pass to James Grigsby.
