Griggs scores four TDs as Panthers rout Crusaders

Palo Verde's Lee Griggs rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries and added a 32-yard interception-return TD as the second-ranked Panthers (8-0, 7-0 Northwest) blanked visiting Faith Lutheran (2-6, 2-5) 49-0 on Friday.

Griggs ran for scores of 6 and 71 yards in the first half, as well as his interception return. He added a 7-yard score in the fourth quarter.

Palo Verde gained 386 yards on the ground, also getting rushing touchdowns by Ryan Beaulieu (77 yards), Eric South (4) and Jacob Witham (41).
