Adrielle Weschler and Brittany Williams teamed to finish first and led Centennial to the team championship Saturday at the Grizzly Jamboree at Spring Valley.
Weschler and Williams finished in 32:40, easily beating second-place Kelsi Koch and Nicole Vanderstelt of Palo Verde.
Instead of a traditional cross country race, schools used three pairs of two-person relay teams to compete. Each runner completed the 1.47-mile course twice.
Centennial won the event with a score of eight, placing teams first, third and fourth. Palo Verde was second with 18.
