ROUNDUP: Sarabia scores twice, helps Rams edge Jaguars

Cristina Sarabia scored from 25 yards out with four minutes to play to give Rancho’s girls soccer team a 2-1 home victory over Desert Pines on Wednesday.

Sarabia scored earlier in the half to tie the game at 1-1.

Mariah Espinoza scored in the first half for the Jaguars.

Silverado 2, Foothill 2 — At Foothill, Courtney Anderson headed home a corner kick by Mikayla Ahlin in the 71st minute to help the Skyhawks rally to tie the Falcons.

Foothill led 2-0 at halftime on goals by Kencie Ely and Drea Austin.

Rose Covarrubias had a goal for Silverado, which got two assists from Ahlin.

Valley 2, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Valley, Aliya Salas scored on a pair of 25-yard shots to lift the Vikings past the Miners.

Amanda Martin scored for Sunrise Mountain.

Eldorado 4, Chaparral 1 — At Eldorado, Alexis Sama scored twice to help the Sundevils top the Cowboys.

Cristal Mendoza and Emily Hipsak each added a goal for Eldorado, which got two assists from Chelsea Upshaw.

Rosa Martinez scored for Chaparral, which trailed 2-1 at halftime.

Las Vegas 4, Canyon Springs 0 — At Las Vegas, Andrea Vidales had a goal and two assists as the Wildcats blanked the Pioneers.

Mackenzie McCoy, Vanessa Martinez and Alica Nunez also scored for Las Vegas, which scored all four goals in the second half.

Lauryn Horstdaniel posted a four-save shutout.

Coronado 4, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Gabrielle Morris, Nia Moreno, Kathleen Cuevas and Fabiana Romano each had a goal as the Cougars blanked the Dragons.

Kaitlyn Fahrner and Melanie Frank combined on the shutout.

Green Valley 6, Liberty 0 — At Green Valley, Kayla Anderson had two goals and an assist, and Cassidy McClean scored twice as the Gators topped the Patriots.

Rachel King and Londyn Lopez each added a goal for Green Valley, which led 3-0 at halftime.

Nicole Dunn had two saves to earn the shutout.

Tech 0, Basic 0 — At Basic, the Roadrunners and Wolves played to a scoreless tie.

Tech’s Susan Melian and Basic’s Lisvette Herrera each notched a shutout.
