Legacy's Allgood headed to Pan American Games

Legacy High School senior Avione Allgood was named to the U.S. women’s roster in the javelin throw for the Pan American Games, USATF announced Monday.

Allgood is one of 44 named to the women’s roster, which includes several Olympic veterans.

The Pan American Games will be held Oct. 24-29 in Guadalajara, Mexico.
